Try Windsurf Weekend 23/24 Weekend
A cracking weekend with a great turnout of 43 beginners joining us at the Long Reef Sailboards and East Coast Boardriders Windsurf and Snow Try windsurf days.
We were blessed with 26oC and sunny skies on the Saturday and 23oC on the Sunday with SE 5 to 10 knots being perfect for the beginners.
We would like to extend our thanks to all the volunteers who helped, namely:
Rhys Herbert and Craig Williams who helped on both days
Pat Coleman for bringing a trailor of gear
GAASTRA team (Patrick, Maryia) for the gear and enthusiasm
Sam Parker for supplying gear
Brett Morris for supplying the safety boat
Red Bull for supplying some energy!
And big thanks to Mr and Mrs Paul Moxham for driving all the way from Morisset with their daughters on both days.
