Carbon Art NZ Wave Nationals show some style From Dunedin to Whangarei the nation's best wave sailors trickled into Taranaki. The 2007 Carbon Art New Zealand Wave Nationals started off with small swell and light winds at Weld road. This made a nice welcome back/introduction to the legendary Taranaki coastline for competitors who traveled to compete. Easter weekend must have been summers 'last gasp', the weather was great, with hot, hot burning sun, and warm water. .
Expat Aussie wins NZ wavesailing champs at Taranaki Expat Aussie, Jill Cooper, competed in the Carbon Art Wave Sailing Nationals at Taranaki over Easter and won the Women’s title. Not a bad effort for a 43 yr old mum! .

Carbon Art Mega Wave Classic Report For the first time in a few seasons Gerroa turned on the conditions for a comp, much to everyones delight. A solid showing of 39 sailors salivated in the carpark during signup over the brand new waveboard supplied by Carbon Art as one of this years major prizes and by midday there was enough wind to get out in the up to shoulder high waves in that perfect cross-off Gerroa direction..

2006-07 Calendar The 2006-07 NSWWA Calendar has been set!!!

Tabou Wavesailing Classic produces the goods... Dirty Dog Eyewear Classic coming up! This is the final event of the series, with top placings in several divisions still up for grabs. Get as much practice in as you can over this holiday break to prepare for the final showdown! There are rumours of money riding on the outcome of the amateurs 'championship', however we here at 'Web Gophers Inc' will not be drawn into such criminal activities. (Be that as it may, anyone arranging for Tony Marsh and Jon Redmond to be out on the turps all night on the Fri and Sat will be amply rewarded with great kudos and huge coverage on these hallowed pages. And, of course, lots of beer).
Freestyle Frenzy at WindsurfnSnow Classic The epic wavesailing mecca of Kurnell(?) played host to the latest and greatest flatwater action on Saturday December 3rd.
